    Martin von Hildebrand is a prominent anthropologist and environmental activist known for his advocacy of Indigenous rights and environmental conservation in Colombia and the Amazon basin. He has fought for the recognition of Indigenous land rights, securing legal protections for millions of hectares, which empowers Indigenous communities to sustainably manage and conserve their territories. As the founder of Fundación Gaia Amazonas, he promotes sustainable practices and ecological preservation within these communities. Von Hildebrand also serves as Secretary General of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (OTCA), influencing policies across eight Amazonian countries. His work highlights the crucial link between cultural preservation and ecological balance, emphasizing the vital role of Indigenous communities in protecting the Amazon.

  • Pedro Tarak

    Pedro Tarak is an influential figure in sustainable development and social entrepreneurship, known for his pioneering work in Latin America and beyond. Originally from Argentina, Tarak co-founded Sistema B, an organization inspired by the U.S.-based B Corp movement, aiming to promote the use of business as a force for good. Sistema B certifies businesses that meet high standards of social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability, similar to B Lab in the U.S.

    He has also been a key figure in promoting the regenerative economy and fostering impact investing networks in Latin America, advocating for sustainable practices and responsible business in the corporate world. His work bridges business, environmental responsibility, and social impact, and he has become a respected voice globally on the role of purpose-driven business in addressing climate change, poverty, and inequality.

  • Eduard Muller

    Dr. Eduard Müller is a Costa Rican scientist, academic, and a prominent leader in sustainability, regenerative development, and conservation. He is the founder and president of the University for International Cooperation (UCI) in Costa Rica, an institution recognized for its innovative programs in sustainable development, biodiversity conservation, and regenerative design. Through UCI, Dr. Müller has been instrumental in promoting the concepts of regenerative development, which go beyond sustainability by aiming to restore and enhance ecosystems, economies, and communities.

    With a background in ecology and environmental management, Dr. Müller has contributed to several international organizations and initiatives focused on addressing climate change and environmental degradation. He is also active in promoting "Planetary Health," a field that studies the interdependencies between human health and the health of natural systems. As a respected voice in sustainability and regenerative practices, Dr. Müller advocates for education and policy shifts to create resilient communities that can thrive in harmony with nature. His work has had significant influence across Latin America and globally in inspiring a shift from merely sustainable practices to regenerative, holistic approaches.

  • Four Arrows A.k.a Dr. Don Trent

    Four Arrows, or Don Trent Jacobs, is an educator, author, and activist dedicated to Indigenous knowledge, sustainability, and educational reform. With a Ph.D. in health psychology and expertise in Indigenous studies, he promotes the integration of Indigenous wisdom into modern practices. As a member of the American Indian Movement and of Cherokee and Irish descent, he advocates for a worldview centered on interconnectedness and ecological harmony. His significant contributions in "indigeneity" address contemporary environmental and ethical issues while emphasizing empathy and community knowledge. Four Arrows has taught at institutions like Fielding Graduate University and speaks frequently on Indigenous knowledge and sustainability.
